At Harrow International School Appi Japan, we believe that meaningful learning occurs beyond the classroom. Situated in the magnificent Appi Kogen landscape, Harrow Appi was opened in 2022 and caters to students aged 11 to 18 (Year 7 to 13).

About the speaker:
David Fitzgerald, Deputy Head and Head of Enrichment
After completing a Sports Science Undergraduate Degree, David Fitzgerald’s career began in Wales. He worked to utilise European funding to establish an extensive programme of sport and adventurous activities in secondary schools. David completed a PGCE in Physical Education through Cardiff University, undertaking training through several schools including Aiglon College in Switzerland, where he returned annually as a Director of Summer School.
He has worked across Europe, acquiring positions of pastoral responsibility as well as House Parent and Head of Boarding at the International School of Milan. hese experiences have supported him in his role of delivering a first-class Enrichment programme to the Harrow Appi community.
