Situated in the pristine mountain environment of Appi Kogen, Harrow Appi is surrounded by nature: clean air, star filled skies, and a healthy environment. With access to one of the largest ski resorts in Japan, a 36-hole golf course, mountain bike trails, an indoor swimming pool, and 18 tennis courts, educational excellence is in our nature.

We are delighted to announce our first ever Harrow Appi campus tour programmes. Join us to explore the wonderful Appi environment, for a school site visit, and for a one-to-one session with the school’s Head Master, Mr Michael Farley. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy the Appi resort facilities and an extra special opportunity to come with us on a nighttime stargazing tour and/or a morning forest excursion.
The package includes an overnight stay in one of Appi’s resort hotels, all Harrow Appi experience events, breakfast lunch and dinner.

Offered in English and Japanese, this month’s exclusive information seminar invites alumni, Tatsu Kato, to share with you his experiences of a Harrow education.
Tatsu graduated from Harrow Bangkok in 2015, reading International Relations at the University of Edinburgh. He now works for a ‘Fortune Global 500’ company specialising in human resources. Tatsu will share with us his Harrow journey, including how he benefitted from bespoke university counselling, close personal tutoring, boarding, language support, and sports.
The session will also give you the opportunity to explore individual questions with our Harrow educator and Project Lead, Michael Farley, as well as our special guest, Tatsu Kato.

In June’s exclusive information seminar we will explore the synergies between academic excellence and the beautiful Iwate environment.
As a full, 7-day boarding school, learning isn’t confined to the traditional school day, and it isn’t confined to classrooms. Talking you through the exciting and busy daily life of a boarder, the seminar will introduce you to the wonderful outdoor learning opportunities available to students in Appi, as well as in nearby towns. You’ll discover how academic excellence goes hand-in-hand with a profound connection to the environment, to local communities, and to sporting pursuits, allowing Harrow Appi students to become leaders for tomorrow.
This exciting and informative seminar will explore how we achieve this perfect blend.

Offered in English, Japanese, and Chinese, our July information seminar is supported by Mr Charles Ellison, Head Master of Harrow Shanghai. Mr Ellison will introduce the British curriculum approach and the rigors of IGCSE and A Level study.
The session will demonstrate how a robust British-style education, leading to gold-standard A Level examination, supports successful entry to world-class universities. Mr Ellison will detail our unique approach to close personal tutoring, and the individualised support students (and their families) receive throughout the university application process – whether they are headed for study in the UK, the US, Japan, China, or elsewhere.
The session will conclude with an opportunity to ask Mr Ellison individual questions.
